What Is a 36 Ton Crawler Excavator?
A 36 ton crawler excavator is a heavy hydraulic excavator used for large-scale earthmoving, deep excavation, foundation work, infrastructure construction and material handling. Its crawler undercarriage provides stable ground contact for operation on uneven and demanding construction terrain.
Compared with smaller excavators, this weight class provides greater bucket capacity, digging force and hydraulic output for projects requiring higher excavation performance. It is suitable for contractors, infrastructure operators and equipment fleets working on heavy construction, municipal engineering and site development projects.
The RUNTX RTX360 36 Ton Crawler Excavator has a 36 ton operating weight and a 1.6 m³ bucket. Powered by an ISUZU 6HK1XQP engine rated at 190.5 kW at 2000 r/min, it provides a maximum digging depth of 7370 mm and a maximum excavation reach of 11100 mm.

1. ISUZU 6HK1XQP Engine
The RTX360 is equipped with an ISUZU 6HK1XQP engine delivering 190.5 kW at 2000 r/min. The engine provides the power required for excavation, hydraulic functions, swing operation and machine travel during heavy construction work.
2. 1.6 m³ Bucket Capacity
The 1.6 m³ bucket provides increased excavation and loading capacity for bulk soil removal, site preparation and material handling. It is suited to projects where higher material volume per digging cycle is required.
3. High-Flow Hydraulic System
The hydraulic system provides a maximum flow of 336 × 2 L/min and operates at a working pressure of 37 MPa. The K5V160DT hydraulic pump supports coordinated boom, arm, bucket, swing and travel functions during excavation cycles.
4. 185 kN Bucket and 245 kN Arm Digging Force
The RTX360 provides a bucket digging force of 185 kN and an arm digging force of 245 kN. These specifications support material breakout and excavation work in demanding soil and construction conditions.

A specified gradeability of 70% supports machine travel on suitable sloped access areas. High and low travel speeds of 5.2 km/h and 4.0 km/h provide two operating modes for job-site movement and positioning.
