What Is a 110 Ton Mining Crawler Excavator?
A 110 ton mining crawler excavator is a large hydraulic excavator designed for high-volume excavation, mine development, quarry operations and heavy earthmoving. Compared with general construction excavators, machines in this class use larger buckets, higher engine output and reinforced undercarriage structures to support demanding production environments.
Large mining excavators are commonly used for overburden removal, loading, bench excavation and other applications where high digging forces and continuous material movement are required. Their crawler undercarriage provides a broad operating base for working on suitable mine and quarry terrain.
